Environmental Working Group (EWG) has come out with its 6th edition of the top fruits and vegetables that have pesticides on them.You can see the full list on the link I have posted. Celery tops the list which surprises me,I would have guessed strawberries. Strawberries is listed as the 3rd worst on the list.
The best thing to do about the food with pesticides on, is to go organic.Buy from your local farmers when you can and buy in season too. If you can, plant a garden and grow some of your own.
If you cannot do any of the above wash your fruit and veggies before you cook or eat them.
